To help you, we created the Time Out Eat List and handpicked the best eateries in the city. Week after week, a new restaurant joins the F&B industry, so narrowing down where to actually book a table can be daunting. For those looking for less food, there is also a menu of afternoon tea specials such as Hainan chicken rice with a choice of hot or cold soy drink.Hong Kong’s dining scene is constantly evolving. For the price of $148 per person for 90 minutes of all you can eat dim sum, we thought it was good value. Several of the dim sums were definitely made to be Instagram worthy, such as the taro paste filled puff pastry swans. Everything we ordered arrived fairly promptly (since the restaurant was pretty empty around that late afternoon time), was well presented and good to delicious. Note also that the regular menu has some fancier dim sum that are not available on the all you can eat dim sum menu, but there was already so much choice that I doubt you would notice. Despite the late hour for dim sum, pretty much everything on the dim sum menu seemed to be available still except perhaps for one or two items. The orders are per piece of dim sum, which suited us fine as that allowed us to order more different dishes to try. The dining time for all you can eat dim sum is 90 minutes so at most you can place orders 8 or 9 times. The system works quite well but note that you must wait 10 minutes after placing an order to place another order so it is best to gather a number of selections together before placing an order. We were given a slip with a QR code and told to scan with our phone to order. We were immediately seated and when we advised we wanted one all you can eat dim sum and one order from the afternoon tea specials menu, we were advised everyone at the table had to order the all you can eat if we chose that option - understandable since it would be too difficult for the restaurant to watch otherwise that only the person who ordered all you can eat dim sum was eating the dim sum. We arrived quite late, around 3:30 pm on a weekday and found lots of tables available. Note that the restaurant has moved from the 14th floor to the 12th floor of Hysan Place. ![]() I met a friend for all you can eat dim sum at Ming's Bistro for afternoon tea. ![]()
